Superman Is Dead (SID), founded in Bali in 1995 by Bobby Kool (lead vocals, guitar, graphic designer), Eka Rock (bass and backing vocals) and Jrx (drummer). Three guys are like Green Day and NOFX, and lately they are more influenced by punk 'n roll from the Supersuckers, Living End and Social Distortion.



Originally named their band Silvergun Superman, a name derived from the Stone Temple Pilots's song `s. But they decided to change its name to Superman because they believe that no one is perfect in this world.

SID could produce three albums independently, namely Case 15 (1997), Superman is Dead (1999) and Bad Bad Bad (mini album, 6 tracks - 2002) before joining the Sony-BMG Indonesia in March 2003.

Together with Sony-BMG, the SID has already released four albums, namely Kuta Rock City (2003), The Hangover Decade (2004), Black Market Love (2006), and Angel & The Outsiders (2009).
